<p>Most people have heard of OPEC, and many know that it stands for the Organization for Petroleum Exporting Countries, but what does an organization like that actually do when a meeting with tea and crackers occurs?</p>
<p>Basically, they meet to ensure that the 13 countries involved are on the same page when it comes to supplying the consumer with oil and creating a stable market for oil worldwide.  The 13 countries comprising OPEC are: Algeria, Angola, Ecuador, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela.</p>
