Rihanna, Chris Brown Fiasco
A quick update on Chris Brown and Rihanna for those like me who aren’t in their teens or 20s and don’t have any kids in their teens or 20s:
Chris Brown is an R&B artist who hit it big with his first album (self-titles) at the young age of 16. He was known to have a squeaky clean image until his alleged run-in with Rihanna before the Grammy Awards a couple weeks ago.
Rihanna is also an insanely popular R&B artist (the song “Disturbia” is probably stuck in your head right now) who got started in her late teens. Allegedly, Chris Brown and Rihanna got into an altercation that led to Brown physically abusing Rihanna. Brown was arrested and has been pulled from some lucrative endorsements such as Wrigley’s and Got Milk?. Rihanna has been recovering and has canceled several concerts and appearances since the alleged incident.
Why is this news today? TMZ.com claims to have a photo of Rihanna after the incident.

I forgot about the whole scandal involving Chris Brown and Rhianna until something sparked my memory. Sure enough, everything ended up perfectly for both of them. I personally think that the two of them pulled off one of the most brilliant publicity stunts of all time.
