Harry Potter can legally drink
The weekends are for movie openings, but this weekend, the focus is on one of the biggest younger movie stars turning 21. Hard to believe, but Daniel Radcliffe, the actor who plays Harry Potter in the popular movies based on JK Rowling’s record selling novels, is celebrating his 21st birthday today. The gossip sites suggest that Daniel will be drinking tequila tonight (not sure how that is “news”), but here’s something you can offer besides the usual Us Weekly-type banter: Radcliffe speaks fluent Spanish. Es verdad. 1
Two more Potter movies are scheduled for release before the series officially ends, but the surprisingly grounded Radcliffe is already casting himself in other films, smartly avoiding the trap of a child star who sits idly by with a fortune and time on his hands.
