Dan Brown and The Lost Symbol
Even if you aren’t an avid book reader, you’ve likely heard of and maybe even read The Da Vinci Code. Now, Dan Brown, author of those popular books about the Vatican, recently released a current bestseller titled The Lost Symbol. This time around though, instead of the Vatican, The Lost Symbol deals with those hard-to-figure-out Masons.
So far the book has received mixed reviews. For example, out of almost 1,000 reviews on Amazon.com, the average review is 2.5 out of 5 stars. As with all of the arts, enjoyment is subjective, so read the book and make your own decision, but so far the reaction hasn’t matched the financial success (#1 on the NY Times Hardcover Nonfiction list).
