Bio’s

Michael (admin) michael@dinnertopics.com

Michael writes most of the posts (those tagged by “admin”) and created the juggernaut known as DinnerTopics.com.  When not working at his “real job,” he balances his free time feeding bon bons to his wife, watching sports and movies (or sports movies to be more efficient), and shuttling his gaggle of kids from activity to activity.  Michael also writes for a couple other websites, has completed a screenplay with more on the way (someday), and is forever planning a book of “words we like to say.”  Yes, “juggernaut” is one of them.

Ethan Smith (ESmith) esmith@dinnertopics.com

Ethan is a native Georgian, a music lover, a glasses wearer, a bad amateur photographer, an aspiring traveler, an obsessed Facebook user, a hard worker, a fast learner, and just a teenager.  Expect to see Ethan’s posts focus on pop culture, current events, and the best way to save the world in five easy steps.

Susie Lancaster (SLancaster) slancaster@dinnertopics.com

Susie is an avid movie-watcher, voracious reader, and budding foodie who wants to change the world through teaching, while traveling the globe in her spare time.  Art, culture, and history are of keen interest to her, whereas sports, politics, news – not so much.  Enter Dinner Topics, which she stumbled upon in order to stay up-to-date on current events and loved the website so much, she became a contributor.  Susie instantly increases DT’s artsy quotient by 43%.

Sam Mandarino (SMandarino) smandarino@dinnertopics.com

Sam is an occasional contributor to Dinner Topics and America’s foremost authority on texting language.  LOL.  It has been rumored that Sam can run an 8k in under 33 minutes.  If only he could type that fast.

Maura Hogan (MHogan) mhogan@dinnertopics.com

Maura no longer contributes to Dinner Topics, but her posts made us all a little smarter.  Boasting the best first name of the group, Maura ended her run with Dinner Topics after a knock-down, drag out fight over proper compensation.  I kid.  Maura’s real life took precedence and she is always welcome back as a guest contributor.
